The Fairland Facility
Fairland's gymnastics program began in 1975 as the Prince George's Gymnastics Club. Since then, that single team had grown to three and we now operate out of the Fairland Sports and Aquatic Complex in Laurel, Maryland, a multi-function sports complex owned by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission of Prince George's County.
The gymnastics teams practice in a 12,000 square foot gymnastics space within the Fairland sports complex. In addition to the gymnastics facility – fully equipped for boys and girls gymnastics and trampoline training – the complex includes a trampoline training room, six indoor tennis courts, an indoor racquetball court, a Cybex weight training center, and an olympic sized indoor pool. There is an observation room available on the second-floor that allows unobstructed viewing of the gymnasium. Free wi-fi is available. Right next door is The Gardens Ice House with rinks for ice hockey, figure skating, curling and with an Ice Sport Pro Shop and Snack Bar. Or, you can enjoy the Imagination Playground located between FSAC and the Gardens Ice House, a boundless playground where at least 70% of the entire playground is accessible to children of all abilities.
